Minor Tattoos & Piercings
Minors are allowed to get tattooed with parental consent.
All minors getting tattooed require an in person consultation once the proper paper work has been completed. There is a form that needs to be notarized. The parent/legal guardian and the minor must have a government issued photo identification ( driver license, driving permit, state Identification, passport or military identification).
The last names and addresses on the ID’s need to match. If the information varies we need documentation that shows guardianship (birth certificate, marriage license, etc.). The legal guardian must accompany the minor and be present for the entirety of the tattoo.
ATTENTION MINORS: If you are under 18, the state of Kansas requests that you bring in at least one parent/guardian (with papers) to sign a notarized document giving Headless Hands piercer permission to pierce you. Parent must have ID and if the piercee is old enough, a school ID or picture ID is recommended. Although there is no age limit, there are restrictions so it is imperative for a consultation with our piercer. Nipple or genital piercings are NEVER an option.
Headless Hands does NOT recommend or perform piercings on infants.
Those piercings usually don’t bode well as they tend to move downward as the child’s ears grow and will usually end up getting their lobes pierced again, when they grow up, making them have a permanent hole on the bottoms of their lobes IN ADDITION TO their new properly placed lobe piercings.
